The philosophy of Wilcon Construction is that safety is everyone’s responsibility. It is of utmost importance to Wilcon Construction that all employees of the company establish a sense of urgency in maintaining and promoting safety.
Wilcon Construction Services, LLC recognizes that there is no job that is so important or urgent that time is not taken to perform procedures in a safe manner. Employees are expected to use all safety equipment that is provided by the company. Wilcon Construction Services, LLC has developed and implemented rules of safety and a code of conduct that is regularly reviewed with all employees.
Serious about Safety
Wilcon Construction provides exceptional safety training to all employees of their organization. Employees have successfully completed the 10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Outreach Program.
Safety Committee
Wilcon’s Safety Committee is hand-picked from an array of office personnel, supervisors, foremen, and other key employees. Employees are trained to recognize work-related hazards or risks and to take part in the necessary precautions to avoid them.
Step Award
The Safety Training and Evaluation Program (STEP) Award is a nationally recognized safety award sponsored by the Associated Builders and Contractor’s National Safety Committee.
The Step Award was presented to Wilcon Construction, Inc. in recognition of their outstanding safety program and commitment to safety at all levels of their organization. Wilcon Construction has a firm commitment to safety and continually develops processes and procedures to maintain the consistency of that commitment.
